It was an absolute pleasure to have Jim Ervin, Glenn Wilkinson, Jack O'Reilly and Joel Thompson at school today. They were absolutely brilliant with the children in so many ways and I am certain that BUFC gained many extra supporters as a result of the visit!
The whole school loved hearing about their different roles in the club and then their coaching session with P7 was so much fun. They took time to talk to the children, get lots of photos and sign autographs. A day to remember!
Everyone at The Diamond thank Jim, Glenn, Jack and Joel for their time today but also for the generosity of the club in donating a signed shirt and brand new footballs.
As the club looks to reach into the community and invest in the next generation, we are thrilled to have been the first school to have a visit!
